On behalf of St. Francis High School (SFHS) staff, it is my pleasure to welcome our returning grades 10-12 students and our new grade 9 students to the 2022-23 school year. We look forward to connecting with students and families in August and September. SFHS is focused on providing our students with strong academic courses and career/technical classes that allow students to learn about career options beyond high school. We encourage participation in extensive co-curricular activities and athletics.

Monday, August 15
All fall sports and some activities will begin Monday, August 15. Check www.isd15.org/activities for online registration and availability.
August 23, 24 and 25
The High School Counseling Department will hold enrollment meetings with new students transferring to our District on August 23, 24 and 25. The Counseling Department will contact new families in August to set up a time to meet with a counselor if they have already enrolled in the District.
Tuesday, August 23
Student schedules will go live on Tuesday, August 23.
Please look for an email from your counselor with a link to submit a schedule change if necessary.
Monday, August 29
School pictures by Jostens will be taken for all staff and students in the Performing Arts Center hallway, Noon-7:30 p.m. Please do not wear green. Families can preview photos at www.jostenspix.com, event code FE40022, before ordering. Buy only the photos you want, which can be personalized . Finished photos ship directly to your home. Picture retakes will be on Monday, October 17.
High school open house—teachers and staff will be available to meet with students and parents 4:30-7:30 p.m. for the open house. Students will be able to tour the school to find classrooms.
Tuesday, September 6
Grade 9 students start school (students in grades 10-12 will start on Wednesday, September 7)
Tentative schedule for the Grade 9 Day:
■ 7:00-7:45 a.m. – Students will arrive, have breakfast and tour the building
■ 7:50 a.m. – Welcome to SFHS Class of 2026 assembly in the main gymnasium
■ 8:25-9:30 a.m. – Students will connect with an advisory teacher and take tours of the building
■ 9:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. – Grade 9 students will attend all first trimester classes and have lunch
■ 1:45-2:25 p.m. – Students will return to their advisory classroom for the remainder of the school day
